CTC Photography is me... Chad T. Charlton. I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada... but have been living in Copenhagen, Denmark for the past decade or so. Straight out of high school... I had the incredible opportunity to travel the world 3 times... playing the drums with an international musical show.

I found that taking in so many places... people and sights took up a lot of space in my mind... I felt as if I needed... or wanted actually... an outlet... an area... "a way"... to store all of it... and to have it in a space in time... to be able to reflect on - at any given moment and to be able to appreciate the colours... the glow... or the grain of a moment. I became addicted to trying to capture the moments when the eye sees something beautiful... unusual... amazing... unbelievable... or just simply intriguing. The goal in my photography is to capture the feelings... emotions... and mood of the subject I am shooting... combined with my feelings and emotions at that exact moment when the shutter clicks. Not to freeze the moment... but in reality... to allow it to live on and on and on.
